KAYAK FISHING TOURS

Individual, Pairs, and Group Tours available. All equipment is provided (Except footwear...wetsuit booties are recommended) Rods, Reels, Tackle, Bait, Paddling Clothing, PFDs, Boats, and Paddles. Clients are welcome to bring and use their own gear. A good sun hat, sunglasses, water and small snack is advisable. Your guide is equipped with FishFinding Sonar, VHF Radio, and GPS mapping. Basic cost is $250 per person. WE use the launch facility at the Santa Cruz Harbor, very convenient to nearby rockfish reefs and halibut sand flats. Trips may also launch from any of a number of tried and tested launch locations around Monterey Bay and the wild North Coast of Santa Cruz and southern San Mateo Counties. Price may vary according to location. Final trip confirmation is weather dependent.

Surfcast Outings

Surfcasting for perch, striped bass and halibut from the beach might be the simplest way to enjoy quality fishing in the Monterey Bay. It's easy, but it's not. There's a lot of knowledge and learning for our quick forays to the beach to be successful.  

It's probably the style of fishing I enjoy most on Monterey Bay because it's so easy to hit the beach barefoot and start pulling in fish. Not rocket science, but took years for me to consistently catch fish using a few simple methods and techniques. I love to teach and share this info with others. the goal being, next time you can do it all yourself.  And CATCH FISH! Client fees begin at $220 per person and we provide all the gear. We can accommodate up to four clients per trip, though singles and doubles are always best for individual attention.
